It's strange to see the photo that I shot of the front page of El Tiempo lying on the floor of my hotel room in Pereira now going all over the world... For me, it was the opportunity to know even more how bland are Brazilian mass media even when compared with their similars in the other sides of the border. Someone living in Tabatinga (in Brazilian state of Amazonas) would only need to cross the border (which is an avenue), go to Leticia and buy El Tiempo to see what kind of press can be done and is not being here in Brazil. Something that see the reader as someone who thinks and can comprehend a lot of things without being treated as a 4-year old kid who doesn't know anything because it's a child.
